Balance + Core (Livestream) 11.2.2023
Today's class has two of my favorites, balance & core! We find balance in the flows, focused on maintaining our balance as we move from pose to pose. And we focus on core work in three separate drills that follow each flow. I also throw in a moment of balance (tree, dancer, standing pigeon) after each drill :).
Core + Flex (Livestream) 10.19.2023
Core + Flexibility...what could be better?! In this class we find the flexibility in the sequences and flows, and the core in the drills. Building flexibility is a marathon...and a little (of a lot) boring. So we pepper in the core focused drills to keep ourselves on our toes and tuned in. And to get stronger of course!
Core + Inversions 9.21.2023
This class has a bit of everything; core, strength, flexibility, balance, and...inversions! If it ends in 'stand' then we did it in class today. A little mini workshop for headstands, forearm stands & handstands! I'll be incorporating inversions into every livestream class going forward. Please join in and I can help you with your form!
Core + Flex (Livestream) 1.26.2023
We have a dual focus in class today, one part core & one part flexibility, especially in our backs and hamstrings. We kick things off in Childs Pose, warming up both the front and back of the body. And we stay with this theme through much of class, creating strength in our core while making space in our back and hamstrings. I HIGHLY recommend this class :).

In today's class we bring the focus back to our core, building strength, stamina & stability in the middle of our body! We kick things off on our backs (how nice!) taking a few moments to settle in and prepare for the work. From Tree to Crow to Triangle, in every pose and sequence of this class we cue everything from our core, making sure we're always engaged and working. This was a good one :)
Core + Backbends (Livestream) 11.17.2022
In todays class, we have a primary focus on building strength & stamina in our core, and a secondary focus of building flexibility in the back of our body. As you make your way through this class, be conscious of what's happening in the middle of your body. If you don't feel your core engaged then you're most likely in a backbend. The same holds true for backbends, when we're building flexibility in our backs, it's important to let the front of your body go :) This is a fantastic dual focus, one of my favorites! I highly recommend it.

It's all about building strength & stability in the middle of our bodies in this Core focused Lifestream Class. We kick things off seated, taking a moment to find our beginning, and then start to flow through a great warmup. Oh, and we play a little 'Hold the Pose Yoga' - holding poses longer than you (or I) want too :)

We have a dual focus in this Livestream Yoga Workout: Core + Flexibility. We start Seated, taking a moment to slow things down and find our breath. Then we dive in with a short warmup, focused on stretching the back of our body while engaging the front of our body, beginning to activate our core. Then we alternate between flexibility focused sequences and core focused HIIT drills. It's a great combo and one of my favorite practices!

We have a dual focus in this Livestream Yoga Workout: Core + Flexibility. We start off in Child's Pose, taking a moment to slow things down and find our breath. Then we dive in with a short warmup, focused on stretching the back of our body while engaging the front of our body, beginning to activate our core. It's a great combo and one of my favorite focuses. If you have time to sneak in a 60 minute class this week...do this one!
Cardio + Core (Livestream) 4.23.2022
In this Zoom Workout we have a dual focus, cardio and core. We start in Childs Pose, taking a moment to ground ourselves and slow our breath down. From there we move for about 20 minutes, building up a long sequence of poses, running through it once at a slower pace and then twice more with a little more speed. Then we turn to the Core, focused on building strength, stability & stamina in the middle of our bodies in pose after pose. Wrapping everything up at the end with Yogi's choice, headstand or pigeon. This is the perfect workout if you're looking to move!

In this livestream workout we bring the focus back to our core, building strength, stamina & stability in the middle of our body! We kick things off by first warming up the back of our bodies, preparing our backs for the work to come. In each pose to come we work on staying engaged in our core, whether it's Tree, Warrior Two or Half Moon, providing support so we can go a little deeper into each.

Today we are super focused on building strength, stamina & stability in the middle of our body, our core. So as you make your way through the workout, I want you to imagine needing to do everything you can to support and protect your back. Doing this will help keep your core engaged, both as we flow from pose to pose as well as holding a few posed in between.

I love a good focus! And today it's all about building strength & stability in the middle of our bodies in this Core focused Lifestream Class. We kick things off in Child's Pose, our start of choice for January, taking a moment to find our beginning. From there we dive into a fun Warrior Extended Side Angle, Reverse Warrior, Triangle Series, warming things up for more challenging variations later in class. We also practice coming in and out of Crow pose several times, focused on engaging our core to help make our bodies 'lighter' and take some of the burden off our arms. This class was a ton of FUN!
Core + Flex (Livestream) 1.15.2022
In todays class we have a dual focus: core + flexibility. With each sequence we move through we'll do a combo of both. In every pose be conscious of when you're actively engaging your core and when you're not, supporting the back of your body every step of the way. For flexibility, we're focused specifically on our hamstrings, upping the ante with each sequence, coming in and out of poses several times. Each time see if you can push things a little further, building 'for real' flexibility.
Core + Balance (Livestream) 12.4.2021
We double up our focus in this Livestream Yoga Workout on both core and balance. We kick things off seated, our start of choice for December, and slowly start to build things from there. But it's really when we get to Tree Pose (about 20 minutes into class) that we begin setting the tone for the rest of class with both balancing poses and core HIIT drills. I loved this workout (and no I don't love all workouts equally), and highly recommend it if you're wanting to improve your balance as well as strengthen your core.
Strength + Core 11.27.2021
We play the game of '3 Rounds' in the focused Workout of the Week. Each round or section of the class includes a short yoga flow, followed by an Upper Body HIIT Drill, followed by a Core Focused HIIT drill. We then repeat the same format twice more with different flows and drills. This has become one of my favorite ways to practice yoga, it keeps you on your toes and mixes things up!
